LIVE STREAM - Stave Hill Ecological Park
Acoustic Commons is an emerging network of live environmental streams drawing attention to the unique sounds of particular places across Europe and beyond.
Over three years (2020-22), the Acoustic Commons is developing work between Full of Noises (Barrow, Cumbria - lead partner), Locus Sonus (Aix-Marseille), CONA (Ljubljana), Soundcamp (London), HMU (Crete) and Cyberforest (Tokyo).
As the project proceeds, it will involve events, workshops and creative actions outside conventional cultural spaces, focusing on sounds as intangible resources which can be shared.
We hope #acousticommons can be a sticky concept for thinking together about sounds, ecologies, atmospheres and collective actions in (un)common time(s).
REVEIL 8 is a 24+1 hr broadcast tracking sunrise around the earth on Dawn Chorus Day. It travels on live audio feeds from streamers around the world at daybreak.
A programme of commissioned work, soundcamps and remote performances to accompany the broadcast, with information, live updates and chat is available via the platform at: soundtent.org/reveil
To join the broadcast: firstname.lastname@example.org
Listen on Resonance Extra, Wave Farm WGXC, Sound Art Radio and participating stations.
